Robinvale Football Netball Club – Club History
Established in 1927, the Robinvale Football Netball Club has long been a pillar of the local sporting community. Nestled beside the Murray River at Riverside Park, the club proudly calls the John James Oval home – named in honour of our first premiership-winning coach.
After joining the Sunraysia Football League in 1958, the club steadily built a strong on-field presence, eventually going on to secure a total of nine senior football premierships. A major milestone came in 2015, when Robinvale merged with the Euston Football Netball Club, forming the Robinvale Euston Eagles – a united force on both sides of the river.
The club caters to junior and senior levels across both football and netball, fostering talent and passion from grassroots through to elite local competition. Our clubrooms – the Kevin Curran Social Rooms – and the Johnny O’Connor Change Rooms, stand as tributes to two esteemed life members whose legacy continues to shape the club’s spirit and values.
More than just a sporting club, the Robinvale Euston Eagles are a vibrant, all-inclusive social hub that thrives on community connection. With a strong family culture and a welcoming environment, the club proudly supports diversity, teamwork, and a love for the game – on and off the field.
